Apteco Learn Mission Schedule Time with an Apteco Architect Play with a Live System

The lesson

Orbit has three kinds of access.

  • Viewer: looks at dashboards, clicks into charts, filters them. Can't see individual records or build audiences. Think: a board treasurer, a program manager who wants numbers, not names.
  • User: everything a Viewer can do, plus building audiences and seeing the records behind the numbers. Think: your fundraising lead, whoever pulls the newsletter list.
  • Admin: everything a User can do, plus permissions, Apteco Connect, and switching features like Orin on. Think: your database or operations person. One, or two at most.

Your Orbit Admin or Apteco contact sets people up. Your job is deciding who needs what.

Your turn, in You and your team

  1. List your team by job title, not name, and mark each one Viewer, User or Admin.
  2. Send the list to your Orbit Admin or Apteco contact.
