Impact Awareness

Campaign journey in Apteco Orbit

Do donors and volunteers hear about the impact they made, in words that fit what they did? Impact told in the supporter's own role is the stewardship most charities mean to do and rarely finish.

Impact Awareness · the whole journey, in Apteco Orbit: Registered interested supporters split by type (donated or volunteered) into quarterly impact updates, with story emails, an engagement check and a What is your story ask.

What it does

An impact update that says the same thing to a donor and a volunteer fits neither. This journey tells each one their own story, every quarter.

Impact Awareness starts from Registered Interested Supporters and opens with an Audience Split, Supporter Type Split.

  1. Donated gets How your donation impacts, then the Donation Quarterly Update loop: Your donations making the difference, a quarterly wait, repeat.
  2. Volunteered gets Volunteers at the heart of what we do, then the Volunteer Quarterly Update loop: Volunteers impact, quarterly.
  3. Everyone Else gets Stories behind the action, a 5-day wait, and an Interaction Split, Engagement check: a click earns What is your story?, a follow of the organization earns Thank you for choosing us, then into the Diagram hold loop (a month, then round again).

Where it fits

The audiences and pathways this journey works with, and how to build journeys like it.

Learn to build it

Point it at everyone who has opted in to hear from you. Write two quarterly updates, one in donor words and one in volunteer words, and let the split do the sorting. The quarterly loop means you only write four emails a year per branch, and every supporter gets the right one.
