Instant Insights, part 2: six more answers

Stop 24 of 58 · about 7 minutes

Who is about to lapse, who could give monthly, and what money is coming in next? The other six tabs of Instant Insights: who is close to lapsing, who has room to give more, when each person likes to give, and what the next 90 days could bring.

The Cliff Edge tab of Instant Insights: the text tile that explains it, Critical - Act This Week, Revenue at Stake, the Urgent Window, the Lapse Triage Funnel and the list of supporters to call.

The lesson

These are the other six tabs of Instant Insights. Like the first six, each opens with a short text tile saying what it is for.

  • Cliff Edge: days to disconnection: Critical (0 to 21 days), Urgent (22 to 60), with revenue at stake and the Lapse Triage Funnel.
  • Upgrade Window: donors giving under 40% of their peak (fully suppressed) and 40 to 70% (partial), and the revenue that could come back.
  • Personal Season: each supporter's own giving season: In Season, Approaching, Out of Season, by month, and their peak giving quarter.
  • Cohort Fingerprint: are newer donor cohorts as good as older ones: acquisition volume by year, average 3-month and 12-month value by acquisition year.
  • Giving Clock: forecast income for the next 90 days, weighted by giving regularity, and who drifted off schedule.
  • Metronome: donors already behaving like monthly givers: Priority tier (score 3 or more), Watch tier (score 2), and the projected annual value if they converted.

How to use it. Pick one tab a week, read its cards and chart, then turn the list under it into an audience. Cliff Edge is for this week. Metronome and Upgrade Window are for the next appeal. Cohort Fingerprint and Giving Clock are for the plan.
